Dorito has a little golden belt!
Noticed that the old photoset of Mr. B was making the rounds again! Here he is, in the typical pose. This shows how much bigger he’s gotten!

A photo of my 75 gallon tank, for any of you interested!
He goes by: Mr. B, Mr. Man, Monsieur Button, Buttons, Buttface, Mr. Menace, and more, depending on his mood. My friends also like to refer to him as Rick Ross.
And here, also have a ‘Rito
This is a great one to showcase Mr. B’s gorgeous fins!
Anonymous asked: Do you find it hard when you lose a fish? I lost my fantail today after seven years to dropsy and I'm shocked I feel so sad. He was fine in the morning but by the time I got home it was too late to do anything with salts. I've never lost a fish to it or heard of it coming on so fast :(
Hi there! First of all, thanks for writing in. Second, I’m very sorry to hear about your fantail…it’s always hard to lose a pet, no matter how small. I’ve only been in the fishkeeping hobby for about a year now, so I (thankfully) haven’t lost one yet. There was a time when I came close, with my very first fish. She came down with septicemia the day before I was scheduled to leave for the weekend. The entire time I was away, I worried about her. I was shocked that such a little friend could fill such a big space in my heart, but they really do. Even after just a year in the hobby, I couldn’t imagine myself without them.
As far as dropsy - I’ve heard of a few cases of it coming on that fast, and unfortunately there is little you can do. I hope you’re doing okay, and take some nibbles from my little babies to make you feel better!
Everyone was tired during the photoshoot, I guess.
Clem and Dorito!
